The Carix Team
Principal advisor, Stuart Carr has garnered a reputation for using innovative means to deliver value and grow businesses, small and large. Stuart is a proven senior level manager (CEO/GM) in the public and private sectors both in Australia and overseas, and has a strong track record in harnessing intellectual and human capital. Stuart has a detailed understanding of regulatory processes, change management, commercialisation of research and stakeholder-liaison.

Susan Woodland is a communications professional with a depth of experience in strategic planning, brand development, media relations, public relations, event management and issues management. Susan is adept at bringing information alive for diverse audiences and has equal aptitude for tackling complex health and research issues and lifestyle topics.

Anna Sullivan manages the day-to-day operations for Carix as well as delivering projects for our clients. With superior organisational skills and a focus on client support, Anna sees that every aspect of your project is covered.

Carix’s Greg Bender marries business acumen with a high-level understanding of technology, in particular biotechnology. Greg specialises in innovation, turning ideas into new products and services. Greg has undertaken product development and commercialisation projects for a number of federal and state government departments and corporations.

Ken Gray has more than 30 years’ experience working in B2B environments in the IT, pharmaceutical and healthcare industries in Europe, South-east Asia, Japan and Australia. Ken’s responsibilities ranged from sales and marketing to general management and regional roles. He has been directly involved in several mergers, acquisitions and restructures with well-honed skills in change management. Ken also has a reputation for applying innovative branding, and original sales and marketing techniques to improve business profitability.

Fred Trost has a track record for turning around and growing distressed businesses, cultivating new domestic and international markets, and developing human assets. He brings more than 30 years experience in private sector businesses including light and heavy engineering, food manufacturing and retailing, and franchising/licensing, with board level experience in Australia and overseas.

Leonard Robertson is expert in financial analysis and modelling. Working at director level for a global financial services company, Leonard coordinated the planning cycle for the Australian and New Zealand business units including developing strategy, economic modelling and budget build ups. Leonard applies planning solutions to commercial challenges, supporting businesses through systems implementation, process improvement and forecasting.

Peter Millard has held senior executive positions, in Australia and Thailand, in the service and manufacturing industries. Peter has broad industry exposure including chemical, transport and logistics, construction, earthmoving and hire industries. He has a reputation for turning around unprofitable operations and establishing effective joint venture enterprises.
